Microsoft has ended support for Internet Explorer (IE) 11, on June 15th, 2022, for certain operating systems.
Users are encouraged, to switch to Microsoft Edge with IE mode.
IE mode allows backward compatibility and will be supported until at least 2029.
Note: It is not necessarily necessary, to access the NVR or view camera images, via a web browser.
To set/see camera view from the NVR, this can be done physically behind the unit itself with a VGA/HDMI display connected (more user-friendly).
In addition, one can use the DVR App ("Eminent NVR/DVR" App or the alternative App "Viewcan" for Android (follow the download link below)), to view camera display from a remote location.

The IP address of the NVR can be found out through the menu of the NVR. Press the menu button on the front panel of EM6304 and navigate through the menu to: "Information" → "Network" → "IP-address (LAN)".
Follow the steps below inc. images, regarding "Enable IE mode" in Edge browser.
- Open the Edge web browser and go to "Settings" and then choose "Default Browser".
- Navigate to "Internet Explorer compatibility" and here choose "Incompatible sites only".
- "Allow sites to reload in Internet Explorer (IE) mode" → "Allow".
- "Pages in Internet Explorer mode" choose "Add" and enter the IP address of the NVR. The IP address should be entered exactly as shown in the sample picture below (inc. http://...).
- After the web browser restarts; enter the IP-address (followed by port number:1024 and Enter key) into the address bar of Edge and login.
6. You will now be prompted to allow the "N9_ ActiveX.ocx" add-in for installation.
